Steve Naylor, running for 1st claim club Bedford & County, ran his last Mota-vation race prior to moving away and secured a comfortable win. James Bolton, as ever, led home our men taking 1st V40 honours. Bryan Vaughan was 1st V60 and Mike Shipway 1st V70. Denise Bridges led in our girls and Sophie Carter, running for 1st claim Belgrave Harriers was 2nd in the women's race and 1st Senior Lady.

James Bolton and Rachel Masser led home our men's and women's teams to 1st and 3rd respectively with Rachel breaking her own 5-mile LV35 Club record. Mike Shipway took in a hilly 4-miler whilst on holiday in Cornwall and managed 2nd V70 honours in a strong field

James Bolton put in some speed work at the British Milers Club Grand Prix Meeting at Iffley Road warming up for the Horton 6 later in the day

James Bolton had a busy day travelling all the way to Kent and competing in 4 events in one day. James secured 3 second places and then ran a leg in the 4 x 400m relay event in 64 seconds.
Kevin Game and Sam Cruickshank came 1st & 3rd respectively whilst Val Berryman-Bousquet secured 3rd Lady honours in a personal best time

James Bolton led early on but was blitzed at the end by a series of runners three of them doing personal bests. Second claimer Steve Naylor won the race.

Our girls had a very strong race with Rachel Masser, Jess Webb and Denise Bridges securing 1st team honours. Sophie Carter, running for 1st claim Belgrave, won the women's race. Dave Cantwell led home our men's team which was weakened due to the clash with the SEAA Road Relays. Rachel set a new LV35 Club Record and there were personal bests from Julie Read, Alan Harrison, Nadine Sandjo and Val Berryman-Bousquet. Sonnie Jane had a useful debut for the Club over the distance.

Our Veteran men's team finished a creditable 5th competing against elite teams from all over the South of England. James Bolton clocked the 2nd fastest V40 leg of the day just 7 seconds adrift of first place. Bryan Vaughan registered 2nd fastest V60 time although not credited for this as he was competing in the younger age category..
