Isle of Wight Marathon since it was the only race I have dropped out of but have subsequently returned to win five times

Gold medallist in UK 100K Championships (Dublin 2005/Cardiff 2008) and AAA of England 50K Championships (Boddington 2006); Silver medallist in IAU World 50K Trophy (Winschoten 2006) and European 50K Championships (Palermo 2004); Bronze medallist in UK 100K Championships (Cardiff 2004/Gloucester 2006); Winner of England trials over 50K (2004/2009) and 30 miles (2005); Runner-up in England trials over 40M (2008); 16th in IAU European 100K Championships (Winschoten 2005) and 27th in IAU World 100K Trophy (Tarquinia 2008) and 13th in Commonwealth Championships (Keswick 2009).

Captain of England in Home Internationals 100K Championships (2006/2008/2009) and captain of England in IAU World 100K Trophy (2008).

Marathon victories at Isle of Wight (1996/2004/2005/2006/2012), Gloucester (1998), Duchy of Cornwall (1999), Cardiff (2004), Luton (2007), Wolverhampton (2011) & Taunton (2012); 2nd in Athens Marathon (1996) and 25th in Marathon des Sables (1998).

To be able to continue running and to chalk up 100,000 miles before pegging out (currently on about 87,600 - updated September 2016).
