Having missed an earlier series race, second claimer Steve Naylor was obliged to run despite a heavy cold, to ensure a series victory. In the end he came an excellent 3rd and picked up the series trophy comfortably with 7 points from 2 victories, a second and a third place.

Zoe White put in a strong performance ahead of her forthcoming London Marathon run with a personal best time.

Martin Townsend competed in his first race since last November in preparation for London Marathon next month putting in a good performmance despite struggling over the last few miles in atrocious weather.

Nadine Sandjo benefited from hard training over the past few months with a strong run in her debut for the Club. Chris Pillar made a rare appearance running a sub 1:30.
