Kevin Game ran from Long Hanborough, finished 7th and ran back home again to complete his marathon training session. Dean Richens had his first outing for the Club since Thame 10K running a p.b. Winning time: 35:49 Number of finishers: 122
In the 1 Mile Fun Run Alice Hudson came 4th in the 6-10 girls age group in 8:51 whilst sister Poppy was 1st 5 and under girl in a time of 11:25
Sunday - 3rd October 2010 - Clarendon Way Half-Marathon (Multi-Terrain)
Rose Bosnell did well to come 4th in her category over a muddy, hilly multi-terrain course in the Salisbury/Winchester area. Winning time men: 1:22:53/Winning time women: 1:40:43 Number of finishers: 439
Sunday - 3rd October 2010 - Hope Moors and Tors 20-Mile (Off-Road)
Andy Battye followed up his excellent run at Woodstock 12 this time finishing 1st V55 over a hiily cross-country course in driving rain and gale force winds throughout. Winning time: 3:04:48 Number of finishers: 95

Sue Cantwell 1st LV35 in new Club record
Steve Naylor won the race in a new Club record as did Sophie Carter in the Women's race. Daniel Moseley finished 1st Junior and Sue Cantwell took 1st LV35 honours also breaking the existing Club record. Dave Cantwell won 3rd V40 honours and Carey Gray was 3rd LV50. James Bolton pulled up with a injury in the first 100 metres but bravely battled through to preserve his Oxon Road Race GP 1st place. Winning time: 24:44 (Men)/29:10 (Women) Number of finishers:212

Sunday - 17th October 2010 – Abingdon Marathon (Incorporating the Oxon Marathon Championships)

All 14 Woodstock Harriers taking part came away from this race as heroes from 1st man home James Bolton, running with a niggling injury, to Steph Hibberd having a cracking run in her debut Marathon. Honours were numerous - James Bolton 1st County Senior Man, Kevin Game 3rd County Senior Man, Dave Cantwell 2nd County V40, Sophie Carter 3rd in open race and 1st County Senior Woman, Paul Brackett 1st County V50 & Gillian Howell 3rd County LV45. Our men took 2nd open & 1st County honours whilst our girls were 1st in both open and County competitions.There were also several personal bests. All in all a great day for Woodstock Harriers.
In the Club Handicap competition the best time on handicap was by Gavin Bird with Steph Hibberd 2nd. Dave Cantwell & Kevin Game were equal 3rd.

Another red letter day for Woodstock Harriers with a host of honours for our men's & womens' teams. Steve Naylor set a new club 10K rcord in winning by over 2 minutes whilst Sophie Dawson broke the women's 10K record in coming 2nd and 1st County Senior Woman. James Bolton won the Oxon Road Race Grand Prix for the 3rd year in a row, Kevin Game came 2nd & Dave Cantwell 3rd. Sue Cantwell was placed 3rd in the Women's competition. Our men won the team competition for the 8th year out of 10 and our women came 3rd. There were various County age category medals and some personal bests.
