Our aim is to provide a platform for people of all ages and abilities to develop and improve their fitness and running ability in a friendly and sociable environment. We are based in Woodstock, Oxfordshire (map shows location of our usual run starting point at the Town Gate) and welcome members from the town and surrounding villages.

Woodstock Harriers train throughout the year. Please feel free to view our training programme. Come along and join in. All abilities are catered for and all are welcome.

Running for Beginners and Improvers

Want to start running or improve but joining a club seems daunting? Or maybe you used to run and need encouragement to get going again?

Woodstock Harriers is starting a series of sessions for people like you.

The series will fit into a “Couch to 5k” programme and you will be able to work at your own level with the encouragement of other group members and our Run England Leaders.

Where? We will meet at the Blenheim Town Gate.
When? Thursday evenings for 6 weeks starting on 9th May. We will meet at 6:20pm so we can start at 6:30pm.
Who? The sessions are for anyone aged 18 or over. If you can walk for an hour and jog 50 metres you will be able to benefit from the sessions. If you have not exercised for many years or if you have a health condition, do check with your doctor beforehand.
How do I join? Simply drop an email to woodstockharriers@gmail.com and we will get you signed up.
Is there a fee? Yes, the fee is £12 (i.e. £2 per session). If you subsequently join Woodstock Harriers we will deduct this from your subscription.
