Steve Naylor, running for 1st claim club Bedford & County repeated his win of last year whilst Sophie Carter went one better than in 2014 to win the women's race for Belgrave. James Bolton led home our men and Jess Webb was our first girl home in 4th place overall and 1st Senior Lady.

Jessica O'Connor took 1st U16 Girl honours with an excellent 6.5 minute miling effort.

Ralf Arneil was pleased with his first 100k effort running along the Ridgeway from Lewknor to Avebury.

Carey Gray took 2nd V55/59 honours whilst Adam Spaul ran round the course with his sons and Nicola Leavresley continued her road back to fitness.

Rob Linnell took 3rd V40 honours running 16 seconds outside his Park Run personal best.

Susan Haines continued to run round with friends who are getting faster under her supervision.

Instead of accompanying friends this week, Susan Haines did her own thing taking 2nd LV55/59 honours.

Denise Bridges shook off her recent injury to put in a strong performance over the 14-mile hilly course in Tywyn mid-Wales.

Our girls' team did themselves proud mixing it with the best athletes in the South of England. Fastest leg by Denise Bridges over the course of 3.85k.

James Bolton took 2nd V40 honours and overall 3rd place behind second claim Steve Naylor who won the race which was run over a new course. Denise Bridges led home our women securing 2nd LV45 honours and a new Club LV45 10-mile record. Denise was well supported by Zoe White and Jessica Ward both completing a debut 10-miler for the Club and Paula Booth. There were personal bests from Jake Harrison, Dan Eisenhandler and Adrian Smith.

Saturday 26th September 2014 - Woodstock 12 (12 miles 198 yards)
James Bolton led home our men's team to victory taking 2nd V40 honours whilst Denise Bridges was the only female Harrier to finish earning the 1st LV45 prize. The turnout of 102 was the lowest in the 34-year history of the race.
