Nadine Carroll completed her 4th long race in 5 weeks with a strong run in France just south of the Swiss border. This was another training run in preparation for the Edinburgh Marathon next month.

James Bolton just failed to beat his personal best by 13 seconds whilst Sophie Carter, running for first claim club Belgrave Harriers, set a new best mark. Alan Harrison had an excellent debut marathon run and Neil Preddy was just over one minute behind Alan.

There was a close battle between Richard Dunbabin and Carey Gray for LV55/59 honours with Richard taking the victory by 26 seconds. Adam Spaul supported his sons and Caeron Phillips and daughter Maddie both took age category wins with Maddie running a new Park Run p.b.

Tuesday 12th May 2015 - Cottisford 5K (Incorporating County 5K Championships - full County Results to follow)
James Bolton ran within 7 seconds of his last year's personal best to take 2nd overall place as did Sophie Carter, running for Belgrave, in the women's race. There were personal bests for Jess Webb, 1st Senior Lady & 3rd overall,Denise Bridges, Alan Harrison, Adrian Smith and Zoe White. Bryan Vaughan won the V60 race and Denise Bridges took silver for her 2nd LV45 effort on her debut 5K for the Club smashing the LV45 Club Record in the process. There were other strong debut 5K runs by Howard Williams and Dan Eisenhandler. James is County Champion, Jess and Bryan earned gold medals in their categories with Sophie & Denise taking silvers. Our men won the County team competition.
