Ralf Arneil sliced amost 2 minutes from last week's debut run to take 1st V40/44 honours again whilst Sonnie Jane was only 9 seconds behind in his debut run over this course coming 2nd SM25/29.George White did well in his debut Park Run beating mum Zoe who took 2nd LV40/44 honours.

Our girls put in a great performance for 2nd team on the day and overall 3rd in Division 1 after 3 events. Senior & Veteran Men - 9,000m
Steve Naylor left the rest of the field for dead with a spectacular win by over one and a half minutes whilst George Ramsay and Steve Frear took 2nd & 3rd team places. A courageous James Bolton, still recovering from injury, battled through and Bryan Vaughan took 3rd V60 honours. Our team was 3rd in Division 2 on the day and retains 4th Division 2 spot after 3 events.Bryan now lies 2nd in the overall V60 category.

Jake Harrison, returning from injury, took 1st SM18/19 honours only a minute outside his course p.b.

Sunday 24th January 2016 - Highworth Half Marathon (Team Event)
Steve Frear led home our team of 5 men and one woman to an emphatic victory. Steve won the race from James Bolton in 2nd, Dave Cantwell & Kevin Game equal 5th and Rob Webster (guest) in 7th place. In the end it was all down to Zoe White who ran close to a personal best over a hilly course to secure the win as qualifying teams must contain at least one female. Alan Harrison, Neil Preddy and Colin Travi all had useful runs training for their upcoming marathon races. Winning time: 1:15:52 (Men) / 1:29:52 (Women) Number of finishers: 57

Congratulations to 2nd claimer Steve Naylor who put in an excellent run to finish 4th in the senior men's race over the notoriously difficult Parliament Hill course. Steve led Bedford & County home to 3rd overall

In extremely muddy and windy conditions, James Leavesley completed the race from Oxford to Henley at an average of just over 9-minute miling achieving an excellent 15th= place. Winning time: 5:49:19 (Men) / 7:01:44 (Women) Number of finishers: 210

It was damage limitation as an improving Steve Frear produced a great run for 6th overall whilst the injured pair of James Bolton and Kevin Game did well to get round in 18th and 70th respectively. Ralf Arneil continued to show his fitness ahead of Dan Eisenhandler and Adrian Smith. Our incomplete team managed to achieve 4th in Division 2 on the day and overall 3rd with one event to go. In the individual standings Bryan Vaughan is 2nd V60.

Steve Naylor, running for Bedford & County, produced a magnificent result at the Nationals finishing an amazing 17th against some of the finest cross-country runners in the country.

Sophie Carter, running for Belgrave Harriers, took 3rd Female honours leading home Bridget Gould and Lisa Clarke, who set a new personal best. Adrian Smith was our sole male representative

Our men managed a full team this time around and were led home by James Bolton to 4th team place on the day in Division 2. Overall we finished 3rd. In the individual standings Bryan Vaughan took 2nd V60 honours overall. It was great to see Hans Price back in action after a long lay-off and Carey Gray in his first League run of the season.

Steve Naylor finished the season on a high with a marvellous 9th place at the Inter-Counties Cross-Country Championships. Steve helped the Oxfordshire team of 6 to a magnificent 8th place overall.
