James Bolton took yet another well-earned 2nd place coming home 1st V40 whilst Dave Cantwell finished 3rd and 2nd V40.Bryan Vaughan was again a cut above the others in the V60 contest and Denise Bridges carried the Woodstock women's flag on her own beating her own LV45 Club record in the process and taking 1st V45 honours. Jake Harrison and Ralf Arneil ran personal bests and Andy Gleeson had a strong debut 5-miler for the Club. Sophie Carter, running for Belgrave, won the women's race. Brian O'Connor went home to Ireland and took part in a sharp 5k south of Cork with daughter Jessica both waving the Woodstock flag. Brian finished 3rd V45 breaking the 17 minute barrier and 15-year-old Jessica was a creditable 8th Senior Lady. Winning time: 15:15 Number of finishers: 320

Rachel Masser had a great run to finish 2nd female overall and first veteran 40. Winning time: 8:19:13 (Men) / 10:41:14 (Women) Number of finishers: 988
After several 2nd places James Bolton stormed to victory in this hilly 5K also taking the prize for 1st to the top of the hill. Winning time: 16:34 (Men)/19:20 (Women) Number of finishers: 267
James Bolton dead-heated for 1st place whilst Sarah Kerswell took 1st LV45 honours. Bryan Vaughan was 2nd V60 and Sophie Carter (2nd Claim) came 2nd overall in the women's race. Winning time: 22:17 (Men)/25:42(Women) Number of finishers: 279
James Bolton went one better than last year to win the race whilst Bryan Vaughan and Rob Webster took 2nd V60 and 3rd V50 honours respectively. Sophie Carter won the women's race for first claim club Belgrave Harriers, and Zoe White was, as last year, our only girl taking part.

James Bolton finished an excellent 3rd overall and 1st V40 securing the series V40 category win. Bryan Vaughan also achieved 1st in V60 category both on the night and in the series overall. Although not running in this final series race,Sarah Kerswell had already done enough to win her LV45 category. Lisa Clarke valiantly carried our women's flag as the only Club female participant. Mike Shipway's time and pl;acing have not been recorded yet due to a finish funnel problem.

Saturday - 10th September 2016 - Jungfrau Marathon (Interlaken)
Dan Eisenhandler completed his first marathon over a rugged mountain course in Switzerland. Despite picking up an injury after 9K he battled through to the finish just beating the 6-hour mark. Winning time: 3:00:11 (Men)/ 3:19:15 (Women) Number of finishers: 4,080
Sunday 11th September 2016 - Great North Run Half Marathon
Leonie Ingram took 10 minutes from her last year's run beating the 2-hour barrier and running just a couple of minutes outside her p.b. Winning time: 1:00:04 (Men)/ 1:07:54 (Women) Number of finishers: 50,000+
Saturday 17th September 2016 - Propriano 10k (Trail)
Valerie Berryman-Bousquet tested out her long standing injury doing very well to come 4th in her age category over a hilly trail course in Corsica which included 2 steep hills, steps and beach terrain.

James Bolton took 2nd place and 1st V40 honours behind second claim Steve Naylor who won the race. Zoe White, who led home our girls, was well supported by Sue Cantwell & Gillian Howell. James also took 1st V40 County gold with Dave Cantwell earning bronze. Bryan Vaughan won both open and County V60 honours. There were personal bests from Jake Harrison, Sonnie Jane and Adrian Smith plus debut 10-mile effort from Ralf Arneil.

James Bolton, who took the victory by two and a half minutes, was given excellent support by Steve Frear, Dave Cantwell and Jake Harrison to secure 1st men's team honours. Age category awards were received by Dave Cantwell (1st V40), Rob Webster (3rd V50), and Gillian Howell our only female participant who was 3rd LV45.
