Sharron & Dean Sheppard went to Portsmouth for this popular 10-miler and were pleased with their achievements. Dean showed that he is regaining fitness and Sharron ran a p.b. just over a minute outside Susan Harrison's Club record from 1993 and earning 2nd LV35 honours from over 21,000 starters. This was a great day for us with a race victory for newcomer Steve Naylor giving him the County title. James Bolton sealed victory in the Oxon Road Race Grand Prix for the second year running with Hans Price cementing third place in the same competition. Our men took the Grand Prix title for the 6th time in 8 years. Susan Harrison earned 1st V55 honours in the open and County races, Bryan Vaughan was 3rd V50 and there were personal bests for Kevin Game,Daniel Moseley, Sue Cantwell, Will Hudson, Melanie Hawkins, Anni Morgan and Steph Hibberd.
