Steve Naylor had another blistering run coming 2nd to a former Olympic athlete and shooting to the top of the Club rankings. James Bolton did well to finish so high up bearing in mind his recent injury problems and there was a battle royal between Kerry Steele and Sue Cantwell who both clocked the same time and went 2nd equal in the rankings. Brian O’Connor & Dave Cantwell were 2nd & 3rd V40 respectively and there were a host of personal bests and debut for distance efforts.Our men took 1st team honours. There were personal bests from Kevin Game and Rebecca Haines with debut 10Ks from Sam Cruickshank, Fiona Weidberg, Paula Booth and Dean Richens. Daniel Moseley,Brian O’Connor and Susan Harrison took 2nd Junior, V40 & LV55 hnours respectively. The extreme heat took its toll with times slower than expected.
