Senior & Veteran Women – 4,800m Our girls did us proud managing 2nd Div 2 team and lifting them to 3rd overall after 2 events.Winning time: 22:29 Number of finishers: 124
Senior & Veteran Men – 8,500m Despite a low turn-out our men came 4th and maintained overall 4th position in Division 1 after 2 events. Winning time: 31:52 Number of finishers: 225
Sunday 2nd December 2007 – Luton Marathon
Dominic Croft came back from injury with a bang and won the event by over 4 minutes. Robin Gardner had a marvellous run beating his target of 3:30. Winning time: 2:39:25 Number of finishers: 536
Sunday 2nd December 2007 – Las Vegas Marathon
Peter Rayner, on holiday in USA, put in a praiseworthy effort to finish well inside the top 10% of participants. Winning time: 2:16:49 Number of finishers: 4,285
Sunday 9th December 2007 – Andy Reading Memorial 10K
Bad weather led to slow times but both Marcus Maxwell & Pete George can be pleased with their efforts. Marcus came 6th and Pete looks well on the road to recovery from a long-standing injury. Winning time: 31:31 Number of finishers: 416
Sunday 9th December 2007 – Bedford Half Marathon
John Greenhill, returning to fitness,had a creditable run in Bedfordshire coming home in the top 3rd of a large field. Winning time: 1:09:56 Number of finishers: 1,385
Sunday 16th December 2007 – Hook Norton Christmas Canter (7 miles multi-terrain)
This new race, set up to raise funds for a new pavillion, was a great success with our 8 runners to the fore. Winning time: 43:04 Number of finishers: 64
