Ed’s words: Lovely course – windy and scenic. Dave set off at a proper lick and before I knew it I’d done the first mile in 5.50. Then I fell over at a sharp u-turn and he disappeared… never to be seen again. Friendly and lively atmosphere – great to be back out there.

Ralf’s words: A hilly, off road and very muddy 10k. Really good local event in aid of Nettlebed Community School which attracted the full spectrum of competitors. Good course set in South Oxfordshire.

RunThrough Newbury Racecourse 5k, 10k & Half Marathon – May 1 2021
First 10km race in under 40 minutes for Tom! Too much loose gravel to get an overall PB but he is pleased with how he ran. He quite enjoyed the time trial setup due to COVID-19 restrictions but could have done with someone in sight in front for the last two miles. Tom said there were some quick times to admire.
