The race in 2020 and 2021 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately the 2022 race was cancelled as a result of the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The race in 2023 was shortened to 8 miles rather than 12 due to the heatwave and runner safety.
