Newbury Showground hosted round 1 of the 2018-2019 competition in which James Bolton and Dave Cantwell took 3rd V40 and 2nd V50 honours respectively. In perfect running conditions, Sophie Carter took the women’s Open, County and LV35 titles in the Abingdon Marathon. On Sunday 8th October Zoe White enjoyed the experience of running with 35,000 other participants in the legendary Chicago Marathon . Although finishing some way behind winner Mo Farah in just over 4 hours, Zoe was just glad to be running in such an iconic city.
